Naturalists Dale and Elva Paulson will give a presentation titled “Rare Encounters” about wildlife behaviors Jan. 23 at the Douglas County Library. The lecture, which will be hosted by the Umpqua Valley Audubon Society, will be at 7 p.m. at the library, 1409 N.E. Diamond Lake Blvd., Roseburg. The Paulsons will discuss rarely seen animal behaviors that are common occurrences in nature. Mammals, birds and insects that can be seen in Douglas County will be mentioned.
