Former city councilor and mayoral candidate Mike Baker and community organizer Ashley Hicks will have to wait awhile to find out whether they will be on the city budget committee. At a City Council meeting Monday, councilors deferred to Mayor Larry Rich, who said he wanted to wait to fill any of the five vacant positions on the budget committee until more applications were received.
