A workshop focusing on veterans’ employment concerns and opportunities in Douglas County is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at the Umpqua Business Center, 522 S.E. Washington Ave. The program will include presentations by Gary Dominick, Oregon Department of Employment; Mary Newman, Douglas County Veterans’ Services; counselor Mark Levno, Grants Pass Veteran’s Center; Jim Little, Douglas County Veterans Forum, and Sam Gross, veteran’s entrepreneurial adviser at the Small Business Development Center in Roseburg.
