Two transients were arrested after fighting inside a kitchen at St. Joseph Church in the 600 block of Stanton Street in Roseburg around 5:30 Thursday night, police said. Christian Alexander Delacruz, 24, allegedly smashed a porcelain plate over the back of Tamara A. Gutierrez’ head, police said. Gutierrez, 27, is suspected of chasing Delacruz down the street and punching him, police said. Both were arrested without incident and lodged at the Douglas County Jail.
