The city of Roseburg will host a community open house Feb. 6 about creating a downtown plaza. The public meeting will be attended by representatives from the Portland firm SERA Architects Inc. and city planners. The city has been awarded a $50,000 state grant to hire SERA to study the possibilities. The firm will assess whether a plaza is needed and where it should be located.
