The Oregon Department of Transportation is urging travelers to use caution due to ash slides near Milepost 53 on Highway 138 East near Toketee Falls. ODOT spokesman Jared Castle said wet weather has loosened a ash-like material. The material is on the shoulder of the road but is not blocking traffic lanes. Castle said the soft soil has formed hillside cavities that look like caves.
