Old drive-in theaters will be the topic Sunday at a lunch meeting of the Douglas County Historical Society. The group is inviting the public to its monthly meeting, scheduled for 1 to 4 p.m. at China Palace, 968 N.E. Stephens St., Roseburg. Guest speaker Steve Swanson from KVAL-TV in Eugene will talk about vintage movie theaters. The presentation is a result of his travels, through which he’s seen more than 70 drive-in theaters along the West Coast. The cost is $12 and reservations are requested.
