A two-day training for child-welfare professionals and domestic-violence advocates will be offered April 2-3. Participants will learn the Safe and Together model, which emphasizes the behavior patterns of abusive people. Trainees will learn intervention skills from David Mandel & Associates, a Connecticut consulting firm. The training is sponsored by the Oregon Department of Justice.
