Glide’s First Citizens of 2013 will be honored at 6 p.m. April 13 at the Glide Community Center, 20062 North Umpqua Highway. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:15 p.m., and the program will begin at 7 p.m. The event is free, though donations are welcome. Community members will provide entertainment, and nominees for this year’s awards will be recognized. The program will culminate with the announcement of the 2013 First Citizens.
