Pit bull who bit child in Sutherlin sought

Douglas County health officials are seeking a small, brown and white pit bull that bit a child about 11:30 a.m. Sunday near the child’s home on East Second Avenue.

Douglas County Environmental Health officials want to hold the dog for observation to ensure it does not have rabies.
