Roseburg police: Driver in back-to-back collisions

A Roseburg woman suspected of driving under the influence of a controlled substance was arrested Monday night after she crashed her vehicle twice, police said.

Shelly Ane Sullivan, 47, was driving a 2008 Ford Escape when she crashed her vehicle on Harvard Avenue at about 9:20 p.m. and left the scene before officers completed their investigation, police said.

Sullivan was then in a second collision at the Exit 125 offramp northbound on Interstate 5 and Garden Valley Boulevard at about 9:30 p.m., police said.

Officers said Sullivan showed signs of impairment and was booked into the Douglas County Jail, where she remained today in lieu of $10,000 bail.
