12:53 a.m. — A vehicle wrecked and flipped in the 800 block of Little Valley Road in Roseburg.
7:48 a.m. — A business in the 4600 block of Carnes Road in Roseburg reported that a man who earlier had attempted to fraudulently use a credit card had returned to the business.
8:21 a.m. — A “strange” man possibly on drugs asked a woman for money then followed her to her backyard in the 700 block of Southeast Edgewood Street in Winston. She said she screamed at him and was now very upset.
8:44 a.m. — A man was leaning over the railing of a bridge in the 5800 block of Northeast Stephens Street in Roseburg.
9:41 a.m. — A red Ford pickup had been parked outside a chapel in the 100 block of South Main Street in Canyonville.
9:51 a.m. — The driver of a white Pontiac near the intersection of South Old Pacific Highway and Chadwick Lane in Myrtle Creek was possibly drunk and had nearly caused two head-on accidents.
10:57 a.m. — A man in the 2400 block of Richardson Road in Myrtle Creek reported that his wife had been the victim of identity theft.
11:26 a.m. — A pit bull and another dog had four of a woman’s goats “cornered” on a rock bluff in the 700 block of Shakemill Road in Roseburg.
12:42 p.m. — Two men were fighting in front of a school in the 100 block of Pacific Avenue in Glendale.
1:04 p.m. — A welfare check was requested on a black lab fenced in the 500 block of Bremmer Lane in Winston. Its ribs were showing, and it had an open wound on its back.
1:16 p.m. — A person in the 3800 block of Hooker Road in Roseburg reported allowing a brother to stay over for the night but now he wouldn’t leave. He just kept going back to sleep on the porch.
1:45 p.m. — Two motorcyclists were speeding over 100 mph near the corner of Old Garden Valley Road and Sleepy Lane in Roseburg.
1:48 p.m. — A child called 911 to report that an accident had just occurred in the 200 block of Fifth Street in Glendale. She said her grandmother was asleep, and when told to go wake her up, the girl didn’t return to the phone.
2:26 p.m. — A man in Roseburg reported that a woman regularly comes to his house and yells that he’s a child molester.
2:36 p.m. — A wood splitter was reported stolen from a trailer parked in the 900 block of Hamlin Drive in Canyonville.
3:25 p.m. — A woman in the 600 block of North Old Pacific Highway in Myrtle Creek thought there was a rattlesnake in her front yard.
3:34 p.m. — A small car on fire pulled over on Interstate 5 at Milepost 94 at Canyonville.
3:53 p.m. — A logging truck hit another logging truck near a vehicle fire at Milepost 93 of Interstate 5. No one was reported injured.
3:57 p.m. — A man in the 400 block of Corona Loop Road in Roseburg who was buying a rifle wanted to make sure it hadn’t been stolen.
4:10 p.m. — A woman called 911 and whispered that her home in the 13000 block of South Myrtle Road was being burglarized.
4:31 p.m. — A man in the 7700 block of Old Highway 99 North thought his elderly friend might be getting taken advantage of.
6:34 p.m. — A woman found a knife in her garden in the 1800 block of Palos Verdes Drive in Roseburg.
7:27 p.m. — A man in the 800 block of John Long Road in Oakland reported that his girlfriend grabbed his neck and scratched him.
8:11 p.m. — A woman in the 400 block of East Third Avenue in Riddle reported receiving a suspicious phone call from a man who asked her to buy his food stamps.
9:23 p.m. — A white SUV was spinning around on the football field in the 200 block of Fifth Street in Yoncalla.
10:22 p.m. — A man in the 2900 block of Old Highway 99 South said he knew a woman wanted for kidnapping. He said he had just seen her face on the news.
Myrtle Creek Police
11:49 a.m. — Disorderly conduct was reported in the 200 block of Volunteer Way.
11:50 a.m. — A 45-year-old male transient was spotted by an officer while the man was drinking a 40-ounce beer on the ground floor of the parking garage in the 500 block of Rose Street. He was cited and released.
12:40 p.m. — Two men were spotted drinking in public near the intersection of Oak Street and Spruce Street. Both were found to have warrants and were booked into jail.
2:46 p.m. — Someone reported that a 26-year-old Myrtle Creek man was involved in drug activity. He was stopped by police near the corner of Cass and Pine streets and found to have methamphetamine.
2:46 p.m. — A 77-year-old Roseburg man crashed his vehicle into a fence in the 2200 block of Chinaberry Street after being struck by a van driven by a 43-year-old woman from Winchester. No one was injured. The woman was cited with failing to obey a traffic control device.
9:58 a.m. — Someone escaped from custody in the 800 block of Comstock Road.
