Police Log: Cougar cub sighting reported

Tuesday

6:03 a.m. — A cougar cub was spotted on a woman’s property in the 1900 block of Wilbur Road, Roseburg.

9:05 a.m. — Report of three identity theft cases at US Bank at the Albertsons in the 2000 block of NW Stewart Parkway, Roseburg.

9:51 a.m. — Report of a diamond ring theft in the 200 block of Tiki Lane, Drain.

10:16 a.m. — A man reported a hit-and-run to his daughter’s vehicle in the 2000 block of Cow Creek Road, Riddle.

11:39 a.m. — Report of a theft of a 9mm pistol in the 300 block of Ruckles Drive, Myrtle Creek.

2:49 p.m. — A single-vehicle rollover accident occurred near Lookingglass Road and Military Avenue in Roseburg. The male driver was limping, but refused medical attention.

5:17 p.m. — Two juveniles were seen walking around shooting a BB gun at buildings near Yokum Drive and Roberts Creek Road, Roseburg. One was described as having red hair and wearing a white and blue shirt and baggy shorts. The second was described as having blond hair.

10:48 p.m. — Report of an all-terrain vehicle and dirt bike theft in the 3500 block of Cow Creek Road, Riddle.

11:37 p.m. — Report of a vehicle accident in the 3000 block of South Smith River Road, Reedsport. The vehicle went off the roadway. The driver was uninjured.

Wednesday

2:43 a.m. − A man required medical assistance after being punched in the nose and having his wallet stolen in the 200 block of Stonehenge Lane, Roseburg.

Arrests

No felony arrests were reported.
