Police and fire logs for Oct. 17, 2013: Shoplifter walks out with chocolate

POLICE LOG

Wednesday

Douglas County sheriff

12:43 p.m. — A man in the 200 block of Southwest Frontage Road in Canyonville reported a generator stolen from the back of his motor home.

1:22 p.m. — A man reported outside lights to surveillance cameras were shot out in the 900 block of Oak Hill Road in Roseburg.

3:13 p.m. — A woman in her mid-50s reportedly stole a bunch of Nestle Ice Cream Dibs and some candy bars from a store in the 400 block of South Old Pacific Highway. When an employee brought her back into the store, she threw them on the floor and left.

6:35 p.m. — Four rifles, several pistols and money were reported stolen from a gun case in a guest house in the 18000 block of Dixonville Road in Roseburg.

ACCIDENTS

Wednesday

Douglas County sheriff

7:54 a.m. — A two-vehicle accident in which one car was rear-ended at the intersection of North Old Pacific Highway and Meadow Lane in Myrtle Creek resulted in no injuries.

1:02 p.m. — A small vehicle and a truck and trailer were involved in an accident in the 2500 block of Nonpareil Road in Sutherlin. Unknown injuries.

Edmond Frank Fabianek, 31, of Winchester on suspicion of failure to register as a sex offender.

Nicole Angelique Flemming, 29, of Canyonville on suspicion of supplying contraband and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Michael Adam Smith, 29, of Roseburg, on suspicion of multiple counts of identity theft, computer crime, fraudulent use of a credit card and third degree theft.

Jenna Jean Whittington, 23, of Roseburg on suspicion of failure to carry or present an operators license and driving while suspended or revoked.

FIRE RUNS

Wednesday

Douglas County Fire District No 2

7:32 p.m. — A fire was reported in the flue of a home in the 400 block of Opal Street in Sutherlin.

Glide Fire Department

5:18 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a fire in a Romtec woodshop at 18240 N. Bank Road in Roseburg.

Roseburg Fire Department

4:42 p.m. — A natural cover fire was reported in the 1000 block of N.W. Garden Valley Boulevard in Roseburg.

Tri City Fire Department

2:39 p.m. — A natural cover fire was reported in the 900 block of North Old Pacific Highway in Myrtle Creek.
