Roseburg police probing death at Gaddis Park

Roseburg police are investigating the death of a 53-year-old Roseburg man who was found in a dugout at Gaddis Park on Friday night, police said.

Officers responded to a medical aid call at 10:25 p.m. and found Todd Brian Johnson unresponsive. Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.

Roseburg issued a short press release late this morning about the death. Calls earlier in the morning about the death to Roseburg police were not returned.

Police said a cause a death has not been determined. Police did not indicate whether the death was suspicious.

Roseburg police and the Douglas County Medical Examiner are investigating.
