Wanda passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014. She he was born on July 15, 1945, in Appladria, Virginia, to Henry and Agnes Phillips, whom preceded her in death. She has been married to the Love of her life for over 53 years, Raymond Steinhoff. She enjoyed life to its fullest and after a long tough battle with COPD, she chose to go home to be with the Lord.
Wanda was a member of the Nickel Bowl Match club and the Rod-n-Gun Club Sharp Shooters. She was also a member of her Sorority group for the past few years and always said “She loved her ladies” and anybody who ever met her loved her.
She loved the beach, but her favorite past time was her trips to the Casino (she had a love for the game) and she’s visited every Casino in Oregon.
She will be missed by her best friends: Doug, Lynn, Debbie and Marilou.
She leaves behind her children: Bobby and Nancy Steinhoff; Rhonda and Stan Wells; Randy Steinhoff; LaDeana and Derrick McClure; her 14 grandchildren: Alisa, Beth, Ryan, Kyle, Christopher, Tony, Jeff, Daniel, Chris, Timothy, Jimmy, Kristin, Noah and Nathan; and her 19 great-grandchildren: Joshua, Mathew, Alliyah, Alexia, Malika, Matyson, Teague, William, Taylor, Preston, Brice, Dylan, Haven, Baylei, Casey, Evelyn, Kyle, Silas, and Declan. She loved her brothers and sisters very much, Dolly and Steve Orr; Olly and Leonard Huffman, Henry and Edie Phillips; Terry Phillips and Toby Forsythe. She had many wonderful cousins, nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
She was truly the Matriarch of the Family!
Gone but never far away - There will be lots of laughter and tears.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
