She left us too soon...an amazing woman in life, Jean was 74 when she passed away peacefully in the comfort of her daughter's home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Freda Frame. She grew up in Kent, Washington and became a popular cheerleader who later married the high school quarterback and had three children. Jean eventually relocated to Southern California where she had a beautiful house on the beach and would show off her bikini body. She owned a flourishing escrow company and in the 1980's became President of the California Escrow Association. The year 1995 brought another change as she moved to Roseburg, Oregon to be closer to her daughter and continued her career in escrow at Key Title. Always active, she joined the Lions Club where she also became President. After retiring from her career in escrow, she worked with Doug and Judi Johnson and Angie Martinsen helping them with their real estate office work. Jean was known as a kind and compasionate person. She never had an ill word to say about anyone; she only saw the best in people. Jean loved to watch NASCAR on Sundays, solving crossword puzzles, watching her favorite t.v. programs and having lunch with her friends (not a dinner person!). Hers was a notable life and she will be dearly missed by her beloved family and friends. She is survived by her siblings, Eileen Atchley and Frank Frame Jr.; her children: Terri Powers and Brian Blackford (her youngest son, Gary Blackford passed away on February 1, 2010); her grandchildren: Tracy Van Wier, Erik Mac Daniels, Steven Albert, Jeff and Michael Mosley, Brian J. Blackford, Tanya Acosta, Tess and Taylor Blackford and 11 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life event is planned for August 25, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the RMLS building at the intersection of NE Stephens and Edenbower in Roseburg, OR.
