Our beloved, William “Bill” MacMaster, age 74, of Myrtle Creek, Oregon passed into our Father’s hands Tuesday, December 11, 2012.
Bill was born on April 10, 1938 in New York City, New York, the son of Douglas and Margaret MacMaster, and was one of four siblings raised in The Bronx.
He graduated from famed Cardinal Hayes High School in New York where he lettered in music and football. He went into the Air Force at age 17, where he joined the Golden Gloves of America.
Upon honorable discharge from the military he married, worked for Brunswig Drug Co., fathered three boys, and went to school nights where he obtained his Master’s Degree.
He later obtained a job in data processing with the County of Sacramento, followed by his most loved career in Criminal Justice Information Systems.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; two sons, William and Ronald; his brother Bob; and sister Barbara.
A funeral Mass was offered by Father Bill Ryan at All Souls Catholic Church in Myrtle Creek on Saturday, December 15.
