Of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013. She was born December 6, 1946 to William Alfred and Jessie O. (Bartlett) Hamilton. They moved from Arkansas to Oregon in 1954, and Juanita graduated in 1964 from Douglas High School in Winston, OR. She worked the Dixonville Postal Route for 20 years. Carol loved her family, cooking, ceramics, oil painting, gardening and her cat.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Patricia Dunaway. She is survived by her sons, Daniel James Long, and Anthony James Long and his wife Mellissa; grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
