Of Winston, Oregon went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the age of 79. She was born February 3, 1933, in Van Buren, Missouri the daughter of John and Essie (Cavicy) Sheets. Virginia was raised in Missouri and on August 18, 1948 was united in marriage to William A. Holloway in Birchtree, MO. They moved to Oregon in 1955 and settled in Douglas County. Judy was a homemaker, waitress and a foster care provider for over 20 years. She was a Christian and an active member of the Family Worship Center in Winston where she served on the board until November 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband William A. Holloway; son W. Carl Holloway; daughter Patricia D. Monroe. She is survived by her daughter Judy A. Perry and husband Blaine of Roseburg; sons Joey Holloway and Gary Holloway and their families; Daughter Pamela D. Green and family of Riddle, Oregon; Daughter Lisa Devoe and family of Winston; and daughter-in-law Brenda Holloway and family of Winston. Judy was blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who all called her “Grandma Great”, she is now sheltered in the Arms of the Lord and will be missed. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. On Monday, February 4, 2013 at the Family Worship Center, located on Lillie Ave. in Winston. Private interment will be at the Civil Bend Pioneer Cemetery in Winston. Arrangements are under the direction of Taylor’s Family Chapel.
