Born May 20, 1933 in Long Beach, California, passed away on February 14, 2013. Frances was best known for her huge smile and warm heart so it is fitting she left us on Valentine’s day. Frances chose Roseburg, Oregon, to be her home over 35 years ago but prior to that she traveled the world as a military wife embracing each new adventure with wonder and enthusiasm. She lived in Turkey, France, and seven different states where she transformed each house into a home filled with love and good times. Frances loved her work in the medical field and brought hope and comfort to many people. There will be laughter and rejoicing as she reunites with Sandy, the daughter she lost at a young age, her best friend Marie as well as her parents, sister and brother. She leaves behind three children: Bill Williams and his wife Debbie of Dallas, Texas; Vicki Bolen and her husband Jim of Roseburg; La Juana Williams of Roseburg. In addition she leaves three beautiful grandchildren: LaSandra and her husband Ed Rodriguez of Beaverton; Scott Bolen and his wife Dwen and Jennifer Byers and her husband Brent all of Roseburg. Frances had seven great-grandchildren, a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins as well as many four-legged, furry babies. Jim Bolen and Linda Andreoli hold a special place in her heart as well as many dear friends. A great mother, a great friend and a great cook, she will be missed. Arrangements are under the direction of Taylor’s Family Chapel.
