Christa Anni Knoth-Priest

Age 83, of Wilbur, Oregon, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2013 surrounded by family. Chraf Roseburg, Oregon. She has four grandsons; Joey and Toby Robinson; Tyrone Newsum and Aaron Berry. Their wives; Becky Robinson, Melissa Robinson, Erica Newsum and Heather Berry. Christa was blessed with eight great-grandchildren which she loved and enjoyed; Sasha, Chelsea, Grant, Preston, Adalie, Kyle, Ava and Bella, with many nephew’s niece’s and cousins from both here and Germany. Christa worked over 35 years in the plywood mill in Sutherlin, working her way up to the quality control department. Christa then bought the Wilbur Mini Market which she operated and loved. She also enjoyed her volunteer work at St. Vincent De Paul in Sutherlin. She made many dear friends along the way. Christa loved spur of the moments trips to the mountains with her beloved dog Fritzie, camping, hot springs, the ocean, friends and family gatherings. She also truly enjoyed her pinochle buddy’s. We will miss her more then words can express.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Umpqua Community Center (old Umpqua School) 806 Hubbard CK RD. Umpqua, Oregon 97486(Potluck). Please bring pictures, stories and your fond memory’s to help us celebrate and hold close our precious Mama/Oma/Friend. We will never forget her…..”Once in the heart, always in the heart”
