Willadean went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the age of 84. She was born to Jesse and Leta Young in 1928 in Ridgley, Missouri. She married Vernon Michael, her husband of 54 years on November 3, 1945, in Columbus, Missouri. He was the first and only man she ever loved. They later moved to Oregon where they settled and raised their five children. Willadean was a dedicated member of the Assembly of God Church for over 50 years. Her two greatest passions in life were serving God and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Leta Young; her husband, Vernon; son, Gary; and brother, Carl. She is survived by her four children: J.D. Michael (Milly); Kay Bakke (Anthony); Phil Michael; Rick Michael; brothers: Vernie, Gene, and Larry Young; and 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Service will be held Saturday March 2, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Taylor’s Family Mortuary in Winston.
