EUGENE — Ryon Healy went 2-for-4 with a solo home run to lead No. 16 Oregon to a 4-3 win over Texas State at PK Park on Tuesday night.
The Bobcats (5-11) tied the game with a run in the top of the fifth and took the lead in the sixth on an RBI double by Ben McElroy. The Ducks took the lead right back with two runs in the bottom of the frame. Healy tied the game with a solo home run to left field, his third of the season. Ryan Hambright gave Oregon the lead with a two-out RBI single to score Tyler Baumgartner, who had doubled.
The Ducks’ bullpen polished off the Bobcats, allowing no runs over the final three innings. Garrett Cleavinger allowed just one hit and a walk in 1 2/3 innings before Christian Jones came on to get the last out of the eighth inning with runners on the corners.
Jimmie Sherfy picked up his fifth save of the season, allowing only an infield hit in the ninth while striking out three.

CORVALLIS — Dylan Davis hit his first home run of the season, but that was all the offense the third-ranked Beavers could muster in a loss to San Francisco at Goss Stadium.
The loss snapped the Beavers’ win streak at 15, which was the team’s longest since the 1986 club won 16 straight. Oregon State dropped to 15-1, while USF improved to 7-8.
Dan Child started for the Beavers and suffered the loss to fall to 3-1 on the year. The right-hander allowed five hits and three runs in two innings of work.
