AMERICANA FOLK — Singer-songwriter Mary Gauthier will perform American folk music at 7:30 tonight at the First Presbyterian Church, 823 S.E. Lane Ave., Roseburg. She specializes in Americana folk music. Tickets are $15 at the door or $12 in advance. Advance tickets can be purchased at Absolute Sound & Music or While Away Books. WELCOME THE SEASON — The 38th annual Spring Fair kicks off from 1 to 9 p.m. today at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, 2110 Frear St., Roseburg. The fair will continue Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The fair features 130 booths of handmade products and live entertainment on three stages. Admission is $3 for adults and $2.50 for seniors older than 65 and children ages 6 through 12. 541-440-4396.

MURDER STORY COMES ALIVE — Roseburg author Jack Earl is signing copies of his book, “Where Sadness Breathes,” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at While Away Books, 932 W. Harvard Ave., Roseburg. The book tells the story of two murderers who killed Earl’s extended family in California in the 1970s. 541-957-1751.

SUMMER THEATER AUDITIONS — The Oakland Community Theater is hosting auditions for its summer musical from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Washington School Gym, 637 N.E. Locust St., Oakland. Auditions are also being held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday. The play, “Shootout at Sadie’s Saloon,” is the story of a saloon under attack. The play will run June 21-23 and June 28-30. 541-459-9504.

TAKE A TRIP TO YESTERYEAR — The annual Antique and Collectable Show will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday in the Douglas County Fairgrounds conference room, 2110 Frear St., Roseburg.
