Linda Lee Hill

A longtime resident of Winston, Oregon, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, in her home. Linda was born in Lubbock, Texas, in 1946 to Andy and Theresa Lindsey. Although Linda and her family moved around quite a bit, she settled in the Denver area and graduated from Arvada West High School in 1965. In 1966, Linda and her family moved to Roseburg. Linda attended Umpqua Beauty School and met her future husband, Mike through a mutual friend. Mike and Linda were married in Denver on January 21, 1967. Mike and Linda have three sons: Shawn, Lance and Andy.

All who knew her will miss Linda’s infectious laugh, spontaneous nature and generous spirit. Linda enjoyed reading, shopping, trips to the Oregon coast and spending time with family and grand kids, especially the grand kids.

Linda’s faith in God and trust in His salvation was a comfort to not only her, but also those close to her.

Linda is survived by her husband, Mike; her three sons and daughter-in-laws: Shawn and Amy, Lance; Heather; Andy; Sarah; and her eight grand kids: Jackson; Kennedy; Griffin; Sydni; Aiden; Samuel; Tesslynn; and Lydia; as well as her two brothers: Bruce; and Don.

Memorial service to be held at Garden Valley Christian Assembly on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 2 p.m.
