Jellison on the season — “I’m hoping to get first in the vault, top five in the 100 and make it to the finals in the 200 (at the 4A state meet). I’m making a lot of progress in the sprints, especially with my starts. The vault is starting to come together, I’ve just got to get my technique down.”

Why she likes track — “You don’t have anybody to blame for your successes or failures but yourself. It’s all on you. I like to push and better myself, and watch myself improve to help out the team. My track teammates are like family; I’d do anything for them.”
