Denver David

Denver Lee David was born on April 6, 1947 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Born to Carl and Norval David, he was the eighth out of 12 children. The Arkansas native was a small child when his family moved to Glide. Denver met and married Sharon Baird in 1966. The family settled in Douglas County the rest of his life. Denver owned Denver’s Floor Covering in Roseburg for many years, and continued to work as a carpet layer until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon David; children: Kevin and his wife Jenny of Creswell; Kelly and her husband Stephen of Roseburg; Kody and fiancé Melissa of Florida; Kyle of Roseburg, some would say the chosen one; four grandchildren: Brittany, Brandon, McKenzie and Mikenna and two great-grandchildren: Cailyn and Landon. Denver was preceded in death by his daughter Miranda, parents and brother Billy Roy.

Denver, you have left such a big hole in our lives. We will always miss your gentle smile and outpouring generosity. You are in our hearts forever. You will be missed.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Church of God of Prophecy, 4342 Douglas Ave, Roseburg. Arrangements are under the direction of Taylor’s Family Chapel.
