12:08 a.m. — A Canyonville man reported that he lent his car to a man and woman while he was in the hospital, and now he can’t track them down.
8:26 a.m. — A Nissan 200SX and a Dodge Ram pickup crashed near the intersection of Hayhurst Road and South Elk Creek Road in Drain. One of the drivers reported that it felt like he had blood in his throat.
8:52 a.m. — A large man with bushy hair was seen leaving a store in the 200 block of Grant Smith Road in Roseburg carrying a 3-year-old girl wearing only a diaper. A caller was worried for the child’s safety because it looked like the two lived in the man’s car.
9:13 a.m. — A caller in the 500 block of Meadow View Road reported an elderly neighbor kept more than 20 cats at her house and didn’t appear able to care for them.
9:25 a.m. — A woman in the 2300 block of Jackie Avenue reported that an 18-year-old Roseburg man wanted for a parole violation was posting comments on Facebook.
10:38 a.m. — A drug deal was witnessed at a bar in the 4600 block of Carnes Road in Roseburg. A tall woman with sunglasses and her hair in a bun was reportedly involved.
11:20 a.m. — Prescription medicine was left behind a building in the 75000 block of U.S. Highway 101.
11:42 a.m. — A veterinarian reported that a puppy brought in had obviously been mistreated by a previous owner. When it was purchased the dog was reportedly covered in feces and scabs, and the breeder gave the buyer a bottle of Pepto-Bismol as medicine.
11:56 a.m. — A large Great Dane was charging at people in the 1800 block of Old Town Loop Road in Oakland.
12:58 a.m. — A northbound driver on Interstate 5 reported seeing two men associated with a PT Cruiser trying to get through a gate near Milepost 159.
1:01 p.m. — A boy was speeding up and down Mona Street in Myrtle Creek on a motorized scooter.
1:18 p.m. — Railroad crossing arms were damaged at the crossing with the Goodrich Highway in Oakland.
2:35 p.m. — A man wearing a blue vest pacing in front of a store in the 200 block of Pruner Road in Riddle didn’t have identification, but had changed clothes several times.
2:50 p.m. — A man was heading on a bicycle toward a grocery store in the 100 block of North Main Street in Canyonville. He was drunk and reportedly told people he wanted to get arrested, so he was going to rob the store.
2:51 p.m. — A bus and another vehicle were in an accident near a hotel in the 2400 block of Old Highway 99 South in Roseburg.
3:08 p.m. — A woman was pushed down and kicked in the chest by a woman who left in a Honda Accord in the 200 block of Apricot Lane in Roseburg. The driver reportedly did not have a license.
4:59 p.m. — A driver on Old Highway 99 South called police to report seeing two people hitting each other in a white Ford Ranger heading to the Wildlife Safari.
5:11 p.m. — A possibly intoxicated driver nearly hit a bicyclist near the corner of Del Rio Road and Brozio Road in Roseburg.
5:16 p.m. — A man was being rude to employees and talking to “invisible people” at a store in the 200 block of Prunder Road in Riddle.
5:25 p.m. — Two young men were drinking 40-ounce beers behind Canyonville Elementary School in the 100 block of North Main Street.
6:25 p.m. — Mining epuipment was reported stolen in the 1200 block of Ash Creek Road in Riddle.
6:51 p.m. — A car flipped near a vineyard in the 14000 block of Old Highway 99 South in Myrtle Creek.
7:04 p.m. — A man in his 30s urinated on a woman’s back fence in the 300 block of Kermanshah Street in Roseburg.
7:19 p.m. — Cars were swerving to avoid boys playing in a ditch near the intersection of Roberts Creek Road and Yokum Drive in Roseburg.
7:32 p.m. — A woman in the 1200 block of Wilbur Road in Roseburg reported receiving a suspicious phone call from a man who said he needed her address for a medical delivery. The woman said she wasn’t expecting a medical delivery.
9:10 p.m. — A woman reported that her 38-year-old son was just assaulted by his girlfriend. He was bleeding but declined medical aid.
10:21 p.m. — An intoxicated man with a holstered sidearm was staggering along Carnes Road.
11:54 p.m. — A cow was mooing in distress in the 200 block of Metolius Lane in Roseburg.
8:45 p.m. — A 22-year-old woman wanted for a parole violation was arrested after police allegedly found methamphetamine and marijuana residue in her home, which she shares with her 4-year-old child. She was taken to jail.
1 p.m. — A male transient with past conviction for a sex crime was arrested for staying at the Roseburg Rescue Mission without reporting a change of address. The 19-year-old was already in jail on separate charges.
3:40 p.m. — A Roseburg canine officer assisted a Myrtle Creek officer on a traffic stop at Milepost 109. The dog allegedly discovered marijuana in the vehicle.
9:30 p.m. — A 32-year-old male transient was arrested after he stepped out into traffic near the intersection of Pine Street and Washington Street. He was taken to jail on suspicion of a parole violation.
10:15 a.m. — Fraud was reported in the 100 block of Taylor Street.
8:34 a.m. — A noise complaint was reported in the 30 block of Southeast Main Street.
4:13 p.m. — A liquor violation was reported at the intersection of Northwest Douglas Boulevard and Old Highway 99 North.
