Richard ‘Dick’ Bebeau

Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away May 8, 2013 at his home in Prineville, Oregon. He was 83 years old.

He was born in Menominee, Michigan to Joseph and Blanche Bebeau. Richard served in the US Army during WWII. He moved to Sutherlin, OR in 1954. He worked at Nordic Plywood then worked at Fowlers Auto Body for several years. He moved to Tacoma, WA working as maintenance supervisor at The Carlton Center for 15 years. Retired and moved to Prineville, OR where he lived on the Keystone Ranch to be near his children and grandchildren.

Richard married LaVaughn Sellers on April 14, 1961. In April they celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary together.

Richard is survived by his wife LaVaughn; son, Robin and wife Linda Bebeau from Michigan; daughters, Vickie and husband Leonard Langley from Oregon and Nancy Upton from Oregon; grandchildren: Chad and wife Camille, Melanie Langley, Brent Langley, Cara Bebeau, Alyssa Bebeau and Dillon Upton; Great-grandchildren: Darrien Langley, Dominic Langley and Sofia Langley; brothers Ralph Bebeau and Lewis Bebeau, both in Oregon.

Preceding him in death are brothers Roger Bebeau from Michigan and Bud Bebeau from Oregon and his granddaughter Amber Upton from Oregon.
