September 11, 1921 to June 1, 2013, 91 years old.
The angels came calling, Saturday evening June 1st, to carry her into the precious arms of Jesus.
Marge was tired of the issue of growing old, also failing memory of all the important things she holds dear. Marge was a very beautiful person, she made her home with us in Roseburg the last 20 years. She loved her home always welcomed you with a smile. Marge was one who enjoyed her yard, flowers, flowers, flowers…. Also maintained her yard to make any park an equal.
At 91 years without a wrinkle, beautiful grey hair, but, the secret is, she was a beautiful red head and she loved it…. So much to know about her, Marge came into a loving relationship with Jesus at age 72 years old, May 22, 1994. Trusting Jesus as her Savior, Romans 10:9-10. After Church at Redeemers, message by Pastor Steve, she said “I am not sure”. So we talked of salvation being a personal choice and she said I would like to be sure. So….. we prayed!
Marge has a new address where she can be found. John 14:1-6. We will see her again, by promise of Jesus, “Where I am there you will be also”. So much more to know about her, but mostly, her love for her wonderful son Richard, who cherishes her so much, for Kristi, Mike, Maggie, Wendy, Wade, Cathy and Ed, but special was her love for Patti… her lifelong loving daughter. Born on her birthday, September 11, 1921, Pat was born on September 11, 1945. “how did this happen”…
Proceed in death, her parents, Harold and Ethel Walters, also her loving husband Frank S. Delay, all laid to rest in Texas.
She made many friends through life mostly close neighbors who lived around her home. She was also very fond of her two loving poodles. Yes pets do bring a lot of comfort and fun, when you live alone. Meetoo and Missee .. toy poodles very special to her and now with her.
She is survived by daughter, Patricia and husband Ed Koyle, Roseburg, OR; son, Richard and wife Lily King, Richmond Virginia; grandchildren: Kristi Reedy of Roseburg, OR; Mike and wife, Maggie Koyle, Roseburg OR; Wendy and husband John Villarreal of San Diego, CA; Wade and wife Cathy King of Valencia, California; great-grandchildren: Ashton Reedy; Hayden and Colin Koyle, of Roseburg, OR; Taylor and Sierra King of Valencia, CA.
