Delbert (Bill) Carman

Age 88 passed away August 1, 2013 at his home in Riddle, Oregon.

Bill was born September 19, 1924 in Springfield, Missouri to parents James Monroe and Alta Carman.

He went into the Air Force as a mechanic in September 1942. He was stationed in Fresno, California where he met his wife Patsy Salisbury. They were married on November 10, 1945. Bill and Pat were married 67 years. Bill taught himself the art of wood carving and later taught classes at the high school art department. He also won numerous awards with his beautiful carvings. He had three children. Michael who lives in Fresno,California. Larry now deceased with two sons in Florida. Cathleen who lives in Riddle has two sons and a granddaughter. Bill was an active member of the Basic Church in Myrtle Creek and will be greatly missed by his church family.
