A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday October 19, 2013 at the Assembly of God Church, 301 N Main St, Canyonville, OR, for Daniel Wolfer who passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013, in Tacoma, WA, with his two sons at his bedside. He was born October 17, 1942 in Myrtle Creek, OR, to Virgil L. and Vera E. (Besst) Wolfer. He attended school in Canyonville, and served in the U.S. Army. He worked for many years at the sawmill in Myrtle Creek before starting his landscaping business.
His main hobby was wood carving. He was preceded in death by his two brothers and one sister. Daniel is survived by his children: Daniel O. Wolfer; Shane P. Wolfer; Teresa Denese Wheaton; and Desaree R. Panosh; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and four sisters: Wilma Lousignont; Donna Luccetti; Norma Turner; and LaVerne Wolfer.
