Bobby Mauldin

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother, Bobby Joe Mauldin, 82 of Dixonville, OR, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Mather VA Hospital in Sacramento, CA.

He was born in Abernathy, TX on October 17, 1930, to William and Permelia (Moorhead) Mauldin. Bobby graduated from Armijo High School in Fairfield, CA, in 1949. He proudly served his country in the Korean War in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Dolly June (Rogers) of 62 years; children: Millie Parks; Sheryl Merkley; Roger (Teri); 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mayme Price (one of nine siblings).

A military internment will be held at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery on Friday, November 8, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. with a reception to follow at the American Legion Hall in Dixon, CA. In lieu of flowers, please direct donations to the Earl B. Stewart American Legion Post 16, P.O. Box 1124 Roseburg, OR 97470.
