Grateful for VA medical care
My brother is being treated for multiple myeloma, which he contracted by being exposed to agent orange in Vietnam.
When he was diagnosed 18 months ago, he contacted the VA in Eugene. Once the preliminary verifications and evaluations were established, they took over his care and treatment and gave him full disability status.
He now comes to the Roseburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center once a month for an IV treatment to strengthen his bones. He’s had dental care in Roseburg and recently had an ultrasound to check an artery in his abdomen. He has had excellent care at the Eugene and the Roseburg facilities.
My brother is alive today due to the good care he gets from the VA doctors and nurses.
