Letter: Don’t blame God for our own bad choices

Don’t ban God, then blame him Since the terrible tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary school I have heard many well-meaning people ask, “How could God allow such a thing to happen?” My question is, what could God do about it? As I recall, God is no longer allowed in our schools. Some of these same well-meaning people are the ones who demand separation of church and state. They are also some of the people who are afraid that someone else might be offended if a prayer is offered on special occasions, such as graduation exercises. We all know that the …
