Letter: Examine the source of news

Examine the source of news

I have to comment on a Dec. 23 opinion letter concerning Obama “slashing” the deficit more rapidly than any president in the last 50 years.

I checked the link he provided and found two items: The Rachel Maddow (MSNBC) blog and an item by the very liberal Paul Krugman (NY Times). I’ll make a deal with the writer, I’ll believe his sources if he will believe Fox News. That sounds fair, doesn’t it?

The writer also mentioned the “Bush Wars.” Is he aware that our messiah is sending our troops to 35 African nations? Why Africa? If there is one drop of American blood spilled, it will be on Obama’s hands, not Bushs’.

Now a bit of humor: Eighteen Democrats want to delay or outright repeal parts of Obamacare. Not surprisingly, once they discovered what was really in Obamacare, which they were all in favor of, they found parts of this “law” that were intended to control costs have gradually been stripped from it.

Example: The 2.3 percent tax on medical devices is a job-killing tax, which will not only cost jobs, but harm America’s medical device makers. What, you didn’t know that changes are still being made to this so-called law? Well, I doubt you will ever read it in the mainstream media.

I also see that at least seven newspapers, including the very liberal Chicago Tribune, are dropping the Associated Press as their chief wire source. And there are still people who believe that Obama will not raise taxes on the untouchable middle class? Please take your blinkers off folks, he already has.
