Letter: Tickets didn’t guarantee Q & A time on gun control at Myrtle Creek meeting

Tickets didn’t assure Q & A I recently attended Sen. Jeff Merkley’s Myrtle Creek Town Hall meeting. We were given a ticket at sign-in. I understood everyone with a ticket would be allowed to comment or ask a question. I found it ironic that one individual monopolized time to conduct a filibuster during Merkley’s question-and-answer period. Had it been better organized, everyone could have spoken. The point I was going to bring up was the lack of accurate information and the abundance of misinformation. Few politicians, or reporters for that matter, have the courage to challenge what some opinion leaders …
