Letter: It’s the Supreme Court’s duty to interpret our laws

Let the court interpret law Tell me it is not true. We have a sheriff who believes that he has the authority to interpret the Constitution of the United States for the rest of us? Come now, I thought that was the duty of the Supreme Court of the United States. Perhaps our good sheriff has taken over Douglas County and is implementing a tyrannical government! Much can be said about the Second Amendment. Without delivering a social studies lesson, the Supreme Court has ruled many times on the issue of gun rights.
