Volunteers are invited to join the professional team of Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance, which counsels Medicare beneficiaries on different types of insurance available in the marketplace. SHIBA volunteers also educate Medicare beneficiaries and those new to Medicare on what the federally funded program has to offer and how best to receive the services.
