Educate, don’t change mascot I appreciated and agreed with publisher Jeff Ackerman’s opinion regarding the article on Douglas County wanting to change school mascots. He did leave out one thing; this is immature and petty. Let’s put money, time and energy into educating and helping these students prepare for life. They are in for a lot of hard challenges.
