Prep Roundup: Glide teams beat Cascade Christian

MEDFORD — Brandon Halter pitched a two-hitter and was backed up by 10 hits at the plate as Glide defeated Cascade Christian 4-0 in a nonleague prep baseball game on Monday at U.S. Cellular Community Park.

Halter, a senior right-hander, threw 72 pitches. He struck out six and walked none.

Zach Rose went 4-for-4 with a double, Jake Livingston 2-for-4 with two RBIs and Cory Finlay 2-for-4 for the Wildcats (2-0).

Glide was scheduled to host Rogue River in a nonleague contest today, weather permitting.

MEDFORD — The Wildcats scored in every inning as they cruised past the winless Challengers in nonleague play at U.S. Cellular Community Park.

Amanda Hatley went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for Glide (2-2). Alexa Evans had two hits in three at-bats and Jordyn Parazoo was 2-for-4 with a double. Heather Graham and Mikayla Moyers combined on a two-hitter in the circle.

Glide was scheduled to host Rogue River today in a nonleague contest, weather permitting.
