Letter: Restore America to freedom and prosperity

The road back to our America

Predictably, the last Tea Party turnout was small in number, not like the first demonstrations. When the demonstrations started in 2009, people turned out all over America with their flags and signs. It was to impart a message: “We are here, we are America, we are ready to fight in the cause of freedom.”

It was not to start a new party, or a revolution, or riots. The Tea Party wanted the politicians to provide political leadership and a needed change from socialism. The Tea Party has no titular head per se and is not a party in the sense that it emulates in function either major party. It is a movement in the cause of freedom.

For its aspirations to happen, it must be through the auspices of the Republican party, Republican legislators - the ones who are true believers with the courage of their convictions. Let them meet behind closed doors and arrange for the political demise of those who corrupted the GOP such as Karl Rove, John Boehner, John McCain the Bushes and well entrenched rinos.

They must be prepared to wage a relentless battle to remake the Republican party by espousing the virtues of capitalism with a rock solid belief in the Constitution.

Patriots will start turning out in numbers that will shock the left. The stage will be set to restore America to the free and prosperous nation it once was.
