Police Log: Burglary interrupted in Tenmile

These logs are the highlights of initial emergency calls and reports to the Douglas County Dispatch Center. They do not represent all the incidents or their final outcomes.


Douglas County sheriff

3:09 a.m. — Reckless driver in a red Nissan Altima with Colorado license plates last seen southbound on Tiller Trail Highway from Riley Drive, Days Creek.

11:43 a.m. — Green freight truck swerving back and forth across the lines, heading toward Melrose in the 2900 block of Melrose Road, Roseburg.

12:16 p.m. — Theft of items from a backyard in the 1100 block of Page Road, Roseburg.

1:29 p.m. — $650 taken from cash box within the last couple of hours in the 2000 block of Opportunity Lane, Glide.

7:06 p.m. — Caller returned home and interrupted a possible burglary in the 4500 block of Reston Road, Tenmile. Two people took off in a white Ford Taurus.

Roseburg Police Department

Timothy Steven Miller, 47, of Winchester Bay, on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and carrying a concealed knife.

Ryan Wayne Standridge, 29, no town listed, on suspicion of drug possession.

Sutherlin Police Department

Brady Howard Sutton, 55, of Oakland, on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon, menacing and recklessly endangering another.
