Get political house in order, and fast
I’m mad because the school levy failed. I’m even more angry that I had to vote against it. The economic conditions our Representatives have created are so dire, I don’t see how anyone could support the levy.
If Sens. Wyden, Merkley and U.S. Rep DeFazio would get serious and revise conflicting Congressional mandates about how to manage a forest, the federal agencies might produce timber sales and generate the OAC funds that support schools throughout the West. It’s amazing how fast Democrats and Republicans came together to exempt themselves from ObamaCare, but can’t fix the quagmire they’ve created concerning forest management.
For example, did you know that after a fire, the Forest Service can do all the expensive site-disturbing activities like yarding and decking, but then can’t sell the logs? It’s idiotic.
Fuel prices keep rising. The increases in fuel prices takes the cost of everything from apples to zucchini up with it. Democrats won’t do anything about it, because it harms the sales of electric Obama-mobiles. Republicans aren’t doing anything, because they don’t want to interfere with “free enterprise.” The result is that people know they will have less cash, but don’t know how much less. How could a sane person vote for an increase in property taxes, without knowing what the cost of living will be?
ObamaCare is expected to produce double digit health insurance rate hikes for “some” in 2014, and that’s just the beginning. But who exactly are “some”? Nobody seems to know.
Wyden, Merkley and DeFazio have all supported ObamaCare, ignored fuel prices, and they can’t fix the OAC situation. It’s time to get rid of these parasites. Please, look at what these idiots have done, come to the next election, and vote accordingly.
