Letter: What part of "no money" does Cantor not understand?

No money, no work, no pay

Hmm? The government cannot afford to pay employees because the debt ceiling was not raised. Employees had to be furloughed because there was no money to pay them.

Yet now, I see that Eric Cantor, R-Va., is wanting to pay the furloughed workers. So we cannot afford to pay them to do their jobs, but we can afford to give them an indeterminate amount of paid vacation while politicians have their schoolyard brawl? Did anyone check to see if these men and women in Congress got a passing grade in kindergarten?
