Roseburg man accused of theft, trespassing and drug possession

A 24-year-old Roseburg man suspected of shoplifting at a grocery store was carrying methamphetamine and had seven warrants for his arrest, police said.

Beau Charles Hayes Parlette was detained at about 3:40 p.m. Wednesday at Sherm’s Thunderbird Market, 2553 Stewart Parkway, on suspicion of shoplifting.

Parlette had previously been barred from the store, police said.

During Parlette’s arrest, officers found he possessed a small amount of methamphetamine, police said.

Parlette was booked into the Douglas County Jail on suspicion of third-degree theft, first-degree criminal trespassing, possession of methamphetamine and the seven warrants charging him with various crimes.
