Roseburg teenager seriously injured in crash

An 18-year-old Roseburg woman was critically injured this morning when her car skidded off the road and hit a tree, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said this afternoon.

Molly Sue Morhain was traveling east along Del Rio Road just after 8 a.m. when she attempted to turn right onto Wilbur Road, deputies said.

She suffered head injuries in the accident, deputies said.

She was transported by ambulance to Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg. She was transferred to Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Springfield, where she was in critical condition this afternoon, a hospital spokeswoman said.
