Letter: Are we the land of milk and honey or the land of moochers and slackers?

No such thing as free tuition

Are people so naive as to believe this jargon? Who do they think is going to pay for this “free tuition?” You and me, the taxpayers of this county, that’s who!

The only way to gain any value in one’s life is to work hard for something and earn it yourself. If you want something bad enough, you will find a way to pay for it. Take an extra night job. Work until you save up the money to pay for your tuition. Has America lost the will to work? Is our country turning into a land of moochers and slackers?

Traditional values are a thing of the past. The “American dream” has made way for the “American freebie.”

Wake up, America. It’s not too late to turn things around. Be a part of the solution to put the American work ethic back to work.

All these social programs are killing America. Earn your rewards; don’t expect them to be handed out to you for free. Nothing is ever truly free, except a man’s heart and soul.
