Myrtle Creek police make drug arrest on Interstate 5

Myrtle Creek police arrested a man on Interstate 5 Wednesday night for allegedly having marijuana, cocaine and MDMA, also known as ecstasy.

Michael Leslie Williams, 25, whose town of residence was not available today, was taken into custody just after 5 p.m. near Milepost 109 at Myrtle Creek.

He was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana, distribution of marijuana, possession of cocaine, distribution of cocaine, possession of MDMA and distribution of MDMA.

He was booked into the Douglas County Jail, where he was being held today in lieu of $700,000 bail.

Further details about the arrest were unavailable today.
